X-rays
Our doctors are dedicated to remaining current on the available dental procedures, practices and equipment to ensure that you are provided with the best oral care possible. In keeping with this commitment, we have upgraded our x-ray system to utilize the best in digital phosphor x-ray films. These films, allow us to decrease the x-ray dose by as much as 50% while still retaining the clarity to diagnose even the smallest of defects. While this is an effort to reduce doses to the patients it is also an environmental advancement. Through using digital x-rays we have eliminated our dependency on chemical developers and fixers that were required for our older film-style x-rays. We still retained our older film-style system for backup use in case of equipment failure.

Patient management system
We utilize what we feel is the best in patient managements systems; Kodak's PRACTICEWORKS© software system. With PRACTICEWORKS©, we securely store digitally all patient information from the first visit to insurance claims and digital dental x-rays. This allows us to provide the most comprehensive and efficient oral healthcare possible.
From the moment you walk in the door, our dental team is alerted by the receptionist that you have arrived and are waiting. During the appointment, the dental professional will update your record and can alert you progress and any changes in your predetermined care plan.
Through Kodak's commitment to dental systems and the application of HIPPA to patient information, we will soon be able to submit insurance claims electronically, thereby eliminating paper and delays in claims through using the postal system.
